Participation at the 2nd National Congress of the Italian Core Facilities Network
Some of our technicians participated at the 2nd National Congress of the Italian Core Facility Network, where they presented a poster introducing our Center and illustrating its main activities. The event offered an important opportunity to share expertise and connect with colleagues from research infrastructures across Italy.

Inauguration of the New BRL (Biosafety Research Laboratories)
On 14 October 2025, the new BRL – Biosafety Research Laboratories were officially inaugurated. The event was attended by local authorities, who delivered opening remarks, as well as experts in molecular genetics, who offered scientific contributions on topics including strategies for targeting senescent cells, the role of whole-genome sequencing in tuberculosis diagnostics and surveillance, and emerging infectious diseases in a globalized world.

Retirement Celebration for Professor Claudio Maria Santoro
A celebration was held to mark the retirement of Professor Claudio Maria Santoro, the first Director of the CTS CAAD.
The event was an opportunity to acknowledge his leadership and long-standing commitment to the Center, and wish him all the best for the future.
