The Integrative Genomics Core Facility offers advanced genomic technologies to support scientific research for academic institutions, research organizations, and hospitals in the analysis of omics profiles.
The Facility is equipped with cutting-edge technology to streamline sample processing and sequencing based on validated protocols and kits, ensuring robust experimental and analytic workflows with high-quality data.
The Facility also offers interpretation of genomic results and preparation of a medical report suitable for genetic counselling to medical specialists, patients, and researchers.
Moreover, it provides data storage and bioinformatics support through close collaboration with the Data Analysis Core Facility, offering an integrated pipeline from nucleic acid purification in samples to bioinformatics analysis for the biological and medical interpretation of the results.

Services
This Core Facility provides innovative services in the field of high-throughput genomics, transcriptomics, and metagenomics applications. It also provides analyses of monogenic or multifactorial traits for research or diagnostic purposes.
The Core Facility offers:
- Support for project planning and experimental design.
- Sample preparation, assay execution, data analysis, and biological interpretation with delivery of scientific report.
- Technical assistance for experimental procedures (DNA/RNA isolation from different biological matrices from human cells, bacteria, and fungi).
- Support and access to specialized equipment (NGS instruments, Sanger instruments, capillary electrophoresis systems).
- Analysis and interpretation of genomic data for research or diagnostic purposes.
